Weston Exposure Meter

This is Weston Exposure Meter from 1954 that I picked up at a flee market for a dollar.

It's a very simplified direct reading meter. It's actually not quite that simple to use. If you notice the graph on the front, it will only measure F/stops for 1/50th shutter speed.

The back is an exposed selenium plate. You just open the leather case and there it is. Just hold it where you want to measure the light and that's it.

My Grandmothers Lighter

I actually don't know a lot about this lighter, other than it's probably from the 1940's and my grandmother used it.

It says 'Carlyle Refillable Gas' on the bottom.

Then just press the big button and it ignites.

You adjust the flame with the switch in the front.

Bathroom Art

Awhile back Tracey and I decided we needed some sort of bathroom art. Tracey's niece has a potty training book that inspired these. I think they are brilliant.
And I think they explain quite well what is appropriate in the bathroom. They're even color coded.
