Model Hind D Helicopter
The Hind D is my favorite helicopter. It's a Russian gunship. It was featured in Metal Gear solid. And it's awesome. I love how it looks, with it's distinctively Russian design.
Testing out the different colors I plan to use on the model.
This is the first time I had ever painted model figures in a model. I thought they came out pretty well.
The inside of the Passenger compartment. You can't really tell but there are seat belts on the bench.
I used putty to paint the camouflage. I didn't use the actual Hind D colors, I used darker colors cause I thought it looked cooler.
Preparing the wings and guns
Attaching the propellers.

Black Window Spider
A very loverly Black Widow Spider I found in my backyard. We actually have about 10 of them back there. One year we had an exterminator come and kill them, but then we were over run with other spiders all summer. So now we let them stay...and eat the other spiders.

1972 Nissan GTR 2000 model kit
I built and painted a model for the first time in 10 years (First time painting one). I enjoyed it so much, I think model building will be my new go to hobby.
First build the engine.
Then put the engine in the frame.
Paint the interior.
Install the interior.
Don't forget the wheels.
Paint the Body.
All done!
First build the engine.

Candy from World Market
For my birthday my friends, Norm and Griselda, gave me a shit load of candy. Now that I'm almost done eating it, I thought I would post a picture.

Doctor's House
The house in Brand park in Glendale. It's called the Doctors house because 5 different doctors lived in it since...I dunno...1900? It's pretty cool.

Fire Starter
This is a neat little camping must have. It's a Flint and Steel fire starter. Strike it and get a massive spark. It even works when it's wet.

Holiday Gift: Life Hammer
I'll probably never need it. But this neat little gadget is a life hammer, If you're in a car accident and the doors are jammed. You can break the windows with a light tap. It also has a seat belt cutter on the other side. Pretty neat...and will probably never get used :)

Holiday Gift: Grass Charging Station
It looks like a grass pot with your phone in it, but it's actually a charging station. It hides all your cords and plugs.

Mute Watch
This is very fascinating watch my girlfriend bought me for Christmas last year. She bought it while it was still in development, so it just recently arrived.

The watch face is normally just blank, but when you tap it or shake it in a certain way (such as moving it into position to see it) the number light up.

You touch and hold the face of the watch to change the time, or swipe to change the function. It's pretty clever.

Also, it's charged with USB (no more watch batteries!) and instead of an alarm...it vibrates! Brilliant!
